  • Controller

    Responsible for managing the financial operations of Avalon. This includes overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, as well as ensuring that financial controls and policies are in place and adhered to. The controller will work closely with the finance team and other departments within the company to provide financial guidance and support, and will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial statements and reports to senior management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in the E&P industry.

  • Production Engineer

    Responsible for optimizing the production of Avalon’s oil and gas wells. This includes conducting studies to understand the characteristics of the reservoir and its production potential, as well as developing and implementing plans to optimize production. The production engineer will work closely with the completions engineer and other team members to develop and implement drilling and completion strategies, production forecasts, and optimization plans. In addition to technical responsibilities, the production engineer may also be involved in business development and decision-making, collaborating with other team members and external partners to identify and pursue new opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in production engineering and oil and gas production.

  • A&D Analyst

    Responsible for supporting the acquisition and divestiture activities of Avalon. This includes conducting financial and market analysis to identify and evaluate potential acquisition and divestiture opportunities, as well as supporting the due diligence process and negotiations. The A&D analyst will work closely with the A&D team and other departments within the company to provide analysis and recommendations, and will be responsible for preparing and presenting reports to senior management and stakeholders. In addition to A&D responsibilities, the analyst may also be involved in business development and decision-making, collaborating with team members and external partners to identify and pursue new opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in finance and/or engineering, with experience in the E&P industry.

  • Senior Completions Engineer

    Responsible for designing and implementing the completion of Avalon’s oil and gas wells, which includes the installation of the production equipment and facilities needed to bring the well into production. This includes working closely with the drilling team to design and implement the well completion plan, as well as coordinating with other departments (e.g. operations, production) to ensure that the well is brought into production efficiently and safely. The completions engineer will be responsible for managing the completion budget and schedule, and for ensuring that all necessary regulatory approvals are obtained. In addition to technical responsibilities, the completions engineer may also be involved in business development and decision-making, collaborating with team members and external partners to identify and pursue new opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in completions and production engineering.
